Girl Up Rise

About

Girl Up is a platform which seeks to empower young women and allow them the space to evolve into successful, confident leaders who are brave and out there to conquer the world, one challenge at a time. It is an innovative campaign of the United Nations Foundation. Girl Up Rise, LSR Chapter is a part of this initiative as platform that facilitates expression of identities and reclamation of physical and metaphorical spaces. It aims at pushing forth gender equality by enabling girls with adequate resources to initiate movements of change. We wish to use this platform for advocacy of issues to be a part of a better world, one without the burdens of assigned gender roles and one where we exist as we wish to.
