EVENT ALERT: Invitation to the 64th Rajagiri Round Table Conference

SocieTree has recently partnered with Rajagiri Media Trust and is a partner for the 64th Rajagiri Round Table Conference. The event is planned to be held on Saturday, 24th October 2020 from 3 PM to 5 PM IST. Since our partner organisations function to contribute in the sector of education and the conference aims to address the same issue, we would like to invite you to the conference to be a part of and interact with various professionals from the social sector and education industry.

About the Conference

The Rajagiri Round Table Conference is held every month to discuss important issues related to the education sector from early learning to university levels in the country. The Round Table is attended by a diverse cross section of experts from management, academia, parents, policy makers and industry.

As we all know, the pandemic has affected the education sector from pre-school to university levels. The Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) have played a major role in inclusive education in the country by extending the required help to continue learning. The conference has been called to address the same scenario.

The 64th Rajagiri Round Table Conference

The 64th Rajagiri Round Table Conference seeks to address the following issues:

1) Implementing inclusive education in the pandemic times and the role of NGOs

2) What are the challenges involved in getting digital access to the large majority of students in the country and to what extent the NGOs were able to address these issues?

3) How can blended learning be possible in the post-Covid scenario.

4) Policy recommendations for the government in terms of technology and non-technology interventions

The recording of the Zoom meeting will be posted on YouTube. The major recommendations made in the Round Table are sent to policy makers at state and central levels.
